Hi! I am Kerry Beach, and I am certainly happy you are visiting my site. Since you have pulled up this page, I will tell you something about myself.

I am an author, speaker, teacher, mentor and coach in spirituality and personal development. At the time of this writing, June of 2010, I am very early in this endeavor, and slowly transitioning from my second career, real estate consultancy. I am still active in real estate, but am moving my primary focus to life transformation.

Prior to real estate, I was an engineer and technologist for well over three decades, working for lots of small companies that did not survive, and a few well known companies, like Microsoft, General Electric and Texas Instruments. The recession of 2000/2001 ended my engineering career, and I settled on real estate because I like working with people, and the business looked very similar to consulting, which I had done for many years in my first career.

Like many of my colleagues, the events of 2007 and 2008 collapsed my real estate business. I spent a lot of time thinking seriously about what I should be doing. While I recognized that the last decade had certainly been the worst I had experienced in my life, I had a feeling early on in 2007 that all of these changes would turn out to be very good for the people of the world. I could not help but feel that eventually, we would look back and realize that the changes, no matter how painful, had been for the better.

I realized that what I had enjoyed most in my life was teaching and mentoring people. I have been adjunct faculty at two major universities, and a certified technical trainer, in addition to making numerous public and corporate presentations during my Microsoft years. The majority of my engineering career had been spent in various management and executive positions, and I had personally developed many teams and individuals to higher achievement and personal satisfaction. To me, management was all about people, not numbers, which is probably why I tended to gravitate to the smaller businesses and start-ups.

The real catalyst that energized me to pursue this dream was, surprisingly, viewing The Secret for the first time. I had read about the Law of Attraction, the power of positive thinking, and many related concepts many years ago, and had been reintroduced to them in various seminars as part of real estate training. However, like most people, I had never really connected with the real issues of attracting the life you want, such as overcoming your negative beliefs, learning to control and focus your emotions, and learning how to reprogram your non-conscious mind for what you desire. The Secret was the first presentation of these principles that had really clicked with me, and I could not help but feel that the timing was very interesting, so now I am on my own journey of living my passion, giving my gift and manifesting abundance.

While I was figuring out what I want to be when I grow up, I also was feeling a push to write a book. This push was a familiar one. I have over the decades developed a personal spiritual philosophy, and that still, small voice inside of me had been bugging me for some years to share my philosophy with others. I finally agreed that such a project made sense given my new, passionate direction. That book, God and Love: A Spiritual Philosophy, has now been completed and published.
